Spiritual Formation Retreats

Stop long enough to hear your own heartbeat.

A retreat is not a program to get through. It is a moment to pause, notice, and reconnect. Kimberly’s guided retreats are rooted in silence, solitude, and the spiritual disciplines that foster a unique encounter with God. Whether you’re feeling stuck, longing for clarity, or just plain tired these retreats are designed to help those who constantly pour but rarely make time to be filled. Come and experience for yourself the joy that comes from being restored so that you have capacity to lead from abundance instead of a deficit.

What can be included:

  • Retreat 101 Orientation for those who may be new to the idea of formation retreats

  • Spiritual Formation Exercises from a variety of traditions but grounded in orthodoxy.

  • Interactive Formation Experiences

  • Guided Meditation inspired by Scripture

  • Group & Individual Spiritual Direction or Coaching

  • Integration Sessions to notice what happened and name the next steps forward.

Who this is for:

  • Individuals

  • Small groups, groups of friends, support groups

  • Church leadership teams, ministry boards, cohorts

  • Church communities, large affinity groups

  • Denominational gatherings, organizational gatherings

Kimberly’s retreats draw on a rich tradition of spiritual formation practice, including material adapted with permission from Carolyn Carney, and an interactive spiritual temperaments experience adapted from Dr. Myra Perrine's book, “What's Your God Language?” The retreats are tailored to your group's size and setting, from an intimate team of 3 to a conference-level gathering of 500+.

What retreat participants are saying:

I loved literally everything — the flow, the free time, just enough activities. I didn’t want to leave!
— Sarah
It was the perfect amount of invitation/challenge coupled with the freedom to listen and do what we needed.
— Sabrina
I loved the nurturing spirit and depth with which you facilitated our times together — the space you gave and kinds of questions you asked. I felt so seen, cared for, encouraged. I love that you cultivated this dynamic between all of us!
— Aria
